ec@shyychina.comWhen you choose the SYM belt-type sintering machine, you select a robust unit designed for continuous, reliable operation under significant thermal and mechanical stress. It delivers stable sinter quality and predictable output for long-term productivity. We provide various sizes and grate area options to match your specific production goals, plant layout, and investment plans.

As the central equipment in a large-scale sintering line, the SYM belt-type Sintering Machine creates sustained value for our customers in the following key areas:
SYM’s sintering machine is based on the proven straight-grate (belt-type) sintering principle, widely adopted in large iron and steel plants worldwide.
In this configuration, sinter pallet cars travel continuously along a straight strand, passing through charging, ignition, sintering, and discharge zones. Downdraft suction through windboxes drives the sintering process, ensuring controlled heat transfer and uniform sinter formation across the bed.
This straight-grate design supports long strand lengths, large grate areas, and stable thermal profiles—key requirements for modern high-capacity sinter plants.

During operation, the main drive system of the sintering machine drives the head star wheel, pulling the pallet cars into continuous circulation.
This continuous operating mode enables stable output, consistent sinter quality, and predictable process control.
