The toothed roll crusher operates through two specially designed, wear-resistant tooth rolls that rotate at controlled speeds. Driven by the transmission system, the rolls draw material into the crushing chamber, where shear, compression, and splitting forces act simultaneously to break the material along its natural fracture planes.
As the rolls rotate, the tooth profile ensures efficient gripping and continuous feeding. Oversized or uncrushable objects are automatically managed by the mechanical spring and hydraulic protection system, preventing damage to the rolls and drivetrain. The crushed material then discharges through the adjustable outlet, ensuring consistent product size and stable downstream processing.
